About Bridgette
About Me
Hello! My name is Bridgette, and I would love to be your doula! I began my journey as a birth doula with my training under the LEADoula program including class hours and practical hands-on birth support and am certified through DONA International.
I have also, trained under Lactation Education Resources to obtain my certification as a Breastfeeding Specialist to provide support during your breastfeeding journey. I have supported many families including first time parents to forth time parents.
I have assisted families with support during scheduled inductions, TOLAC/VBAC, planned and unplanned C-sections. I have assisted families with unmedicated and medicated births. My passion comes from my love of advocacy. There is no greater joy than watching a family grow! Allow me to support you in your journey!

She was very hands-on and proactive in keeping my comfortable during my birth. She was very knowledgeable about how different hospital operated and worked great with my delivery nurses. She was able to help me establish my breastfeeding journey after I struggled in the hospital. She helped me talk through and process my birth experience. So happy to have had her as our doula!

Bridgette was amazing! She came to my rescue a week prior to my delivery date it was so last minute, I'm so happy I choose Bridgette, this is my third Birth, my first two Labor experiences were not great at all in my hometown with the nurses and doctors and no doula.

I started labor 1:00 am and she made her way to the hospital as soon as i told her i was contracting, Bridgette was so caring, She held my hand through every contraction, Told me how to breathe and she had me in Multiple positions for gravity to naturally work itself for my son to come out as easily as possible and it worked tremendously !
As the nurse stepped out the room , my son started to crown and was born with just Bridgette in the room to help assist with this quick delivery of my son. I could not have done this without her! She is such a sweet and caring lady. She also visited the home twice for post Partum check up with my son and i. I'm thankful every day for this great Healthy birthing experience that I will never forget but nonetheless, I will never ever forget Bridgette .Thank you so much!

Hands down the BEST doula ever!
Hands down the BEST doula ever! After my first child, I knew I wanted a doula for my second and when I found out that certain Medicaid now covers the cost, I was ecstatic! First meeting with Bridgette was heaven sent and I was so comfortable & at ease!

We discussed my previous pregnancy, labor, breastfeeding, & postpartum experience and my dream experience this second time around. During my entire pregnancy she was a phone call or text away at any time, giving so much knowledge & answering any questions or concerns I had. My labor was absolutely PHENOMENAL from the aromatherapy, massages, & helping with dilating QUICKLY! We laughed the ENTIRE time and the atmosphere was so great that even the nurses & doctors kept coming in the room with us to get some good energy!
The support was through the roof! I didn’t have any family that was around until it was time to push, so the fact that Bridgette was there & helping me along the way was everything! She even stayed overnight with me in the hospital because I didn’t have family that was able to come & was induced at 4pm one day and baby didn’t come until about 2pm the next day.
After that, she helped with postpartum & breastfeeding as well. With my first I had difficulties breastfeeding and Bridgette made sure this time around everything was good to go! Even when my baby boy & I were struggling with latching during the first week, Bridgette came next day to make sure we got it handled since that first week is crucial for lactation. Fast forward 7 weeks later at my postpartum appointment, my doctor was still raving about her and telling me how she was handing out her business cards to patients. If I could give a thousand stars, I would. I HIGHLY recommend Bridgette as the number one doula!
